Spring Break Cruises!

September 10, 2009

So you wanna take a cruise for spring break.

Well here are the pros, cons, and the best way to go about it.

#1 DO NOT book a Carnival Cruise, Princess, Royal Caribbean Cruise or any of the major cruise lines because they have more rules than I can fit in this blog!  They force you to have someone 21 or older in each room and you must be 21 to drink (except at the differnt ports you visit).  It is also hard to find all you can drink packages with these cruise lines.  NOT TO MENTION your on the ship with honey mooners, senior citizen’s and families

DO BOOK a party cruise.

Several student travel companies offer student party cruises.  These cruises are full of students, have a staff from the travel company for your safety and best of all…IT’S ALL STUDENTS!

An example of one of the best party cruises around can be found here!  This company literally buys an entire cruise ship for the spring break season and fills it with nothing but students.  The cruise is really just the the transportation, but that is a good thing.  Meaning you leave Ft. Lauderdale on day one and arrive in Freeport, Bahamas that evening…you then stay all-inclusive (all you can eat and drink) for 4 nights on the island and party your ass off the whole time.  While on the island there are daytime beach parties, night-time parties in the Freeport Marketplace Square, and plenty of sun and sand.  Then on the 5th day you board the cruise ship back and head back to Ft. Lauderdale.

Pricing for the all-student cruise is very low.

Here is a video of the cruise:
